Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is rapidly reshaping how information is created, distributed, and consumed, with profound implications for learning, work, and democratic participation. While GenAI tools lower barriers to content creation and offer new opportunities for creativity and access, they also amplify misinformation, bias, and inequity within the information ecosystem.

This session examines how GenAI is transforming information ecosystems and explores the critical role of adult education in preparing learners to navigate these changes responsibly. Participants will gain practical insights into integrating AI literacy, ethical engagement, and digital equity into adult learning contexts, positioning educators as essential guides in an increasingly algorithmic world.
