Young people are seldom included in education policy and decision-making process but in 2020/21 the Asia South Pacific Association for Basic and Adult Education (ASPBAE) engaged youth on their experiences with education, their views on education, and what they aspire for in future learning systems. Workshops were held in six countries who were represented by youth from marginalised communities, and they shared perspectives from their local contexts. From the Margins to the Center report is a contribution by young people to the development of the recently launched “Reimagining our futures together: A new social contract for education” (UNESCO, 2021).
